Flying to the high mountains is endless, and the scenery will come at times.

Remembering the history of Shenyang Flying Ship.

Many friends, especially foreign friends, often ask us the same question: Why is your company called Flying Ship? What does it mean? To understand the meaning of Flying Ship, we need to start from its history:
In 1993, our Chairman Liang and General Manager Wang were introduced to Mr. Guan, the chairman of the Hong Kong Flying Ship Advertising Company, through a friend. Mr. Guan introduced the Japanese airship advertising media project to Chairman Liang and General Manager Wang. Chairman Liang felt that the creativity of this project was very high, and immediately decided to establish Shenyang Flying Ship Advertising Co., Ltd., and took out a loan to purchase a 48-meter-long Japanese airship advertising media.
On the day of the airship's maiden flight, we held a grand opening ceremony and invited Brother Ben Shan to cut the ribbon. The first client for the airship advertisement was 'Ben Shan Fruit Tea.' Our first day can be described as a failure; after flying for half a day, the airship crashed onto a busy road, causing quite a stir locally. The Japanese flight captain analyzed the reason: the radio frequency we applied for at that time had too much interference, which made it difficult to control the airship properly. The airship project persisted for a year amidst ups and downs, and was completely destroyed in the last flight. After two years of litigation, the insurance company finally compensated us for our principal.
After the airship project ended, we quickly launched a large-format computer printing project purchased from Japan, and the company was subsequently renamed Shenyang Flying Ship Computer Printing Co., Ltd. In 1994, advertising clients were not very familiar with what printing technology was, and the price of printing was extremely high, reaching 1000 yuan per square meter. General Manager Wang would search the newspapers every day for companies that were advertising and might become clients of Flying Ship. Finally, through General Manager Wang's unremitting efforts, we secured our first client—Coca-Cola. In the following two years, Flying Ship experienced the development process of the printing machine like a money printing machine, accumulating our first pot of gold, and in 1997, we purchased a second large-format printer from the United States. At this time, the printing industry had developed rapidly and gradually entered a stage of competition for equipment resources.
In 2000, Chairman Liang decisively decided to develop domestic printing machines to meet the rising investment boom in printing machines in the country. After using the printing machine for six years, we were already familiar with the maintenance principles of the printing machine. Coupled with Chairman Liang's dual knowledge in mechanics and software, we were confident to start this new project. In April 2001, we signed a cooperation agreement with XAAR for 128 print heads, and the first Flying Map digital printing machine was unveiled at the Beijing Sixin Exhibition in August 2001. It can be said that in the next three years, we accumulated our second pot of gold, and the company was renamed Shenyang Flying Ship Digital Printing Equipment Co., Ltd. in 2004.
We registered the trademark for Flying Ship and its logo. Chairman Liang described it this way: it represents Flying Ship digital printing (technology/equipment). The SKY in SKYJET represents Flying Ship, blue sky, and JET means inkjet printing. From the position of the solar corona projection, this time is the 'si' hour, which is between 9 AM and 11 AM (a good time). The solar corona represents time and history, extending to modern society, representing precision and the pace of the times... Twenty years ago, Flying Ship was just the name of our advertising project, and twenty years later, it has become the brand of the company, recording the hardships and happiness of our 20 years of entrepreneurship, and is the wealth of our lives.
